Multiple evaluations of literacy activities: Case

Tasks
To conduct "Factual External Evaluations of
NGOs", the following four tasks were undertaken:
Task I: Identification of NGOs in the area of
education
A compilation of existing databases and directories was
conducted prior
to this exercise.
Task II: Integration of existing information with the
questionnaire for the study
Task
III: Conduct of fieldwork (sub-conducted)

Compilation and Entry
Data will be entered and forwarded
in the data structure
Organisation
Based on the spread of the NGOs in the districts, a team of
local coordinators was identified by the state coordinators. The state
coordinators were involved in the briefing of the field teams, launch
of fieldwork and monitoring and supervision of the fieldwork.
The zonal data managers in the four zones (viz. north, south, east and
west) were
involved in the data compilation and entry. These managers were
responsible for data entry, the data coding, entry and scrutiny for
their respective zones.
The overall project coordination was undertaken from Delhi.
